Background

Ashley “Simone” Maybin, M.D., is a fellow with the Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Maybin’s expertise is in pain medicine, specifically pain following spine surgery. She was the first chief resident of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. During her residency, her research into postsurgical pain earned her a Resident Research Award from the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting.
