An exceptional doctor. Very knowledgeable, personable, diagnostic care, asks questions, listens, provides options, compassionate. One of the best doctors I've ever seen. Knows more than eye care. Knowledge includes Sjogrens, Occipital nerves, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Migraine headaches, neck and cervical pain. Would recommend Dr. Karakus to anyone seeking the finest in eye care.

This was my annual ophthalmologic exam. Dr. Karakus was a little late for the appointment and she apologized for that. Otherwise, she was wonderful, as I have found her on prior visits. Unfortunately (for me, at least), she will be moving to a different office location next year, so I won't be seeing her again. I am disappointed about that.

Dr Karakus is a ophthalmologist that I see at Wilmer Eye Center in Columbia MD. She seems to be knowledgeable and works with me on my continuing eye issues. I like her and would like to continue seeing her but she is moving to Lutherville MD office and I'm told the Columbia office will not have a dry eye specialist, which is frustrating. Frederick MD office does not have a dry eye specialist either.
