Background
Peiling Chen, O.D., is assistant faculty of ophthalmology at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. She provides comprehensive eye care services specializing in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, conditions and post-operative surgical care in areas such as: dry eye, ocular allergy, macular degeneration, retinal pathologies, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma, LASIK care, and cataracts; as well as, eye examinations and contact lens fittings.
She completed her undergraduate degree at University of Maryland. She received her optometric doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University with the distinction of Gold Key Honor Society induction. She also completed extensive training at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Walter Reed Medical Center, and The Eye Institute of Philadelphia.
