Background

Dr. Yadav is an internationally recognized expert in the development of MRI methods for molecular imaging. He completed his Ph.D. thesis studying the diffusion of molecules in porous materials using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and his postdoctoral training concentrated on magnetization transfer and chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) MRI methods. Dr. Yadav's ongoing research is focused on advancing magnetization transfer and CEST MRI acquisition methods; building mathematical frameworks for describing the MRI signal for image analysis and machine learning applications, and applying these techniques to address clinical needs. His methods have been applied to cancer, neurodegeneration, and glycogen storage diseases.

Dr. Yadav is a frequent reviewer for leading imaging journals, study sections, and thesis committees. In addition, he serves on the editorial boards of several journals and on the Education Committee of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
