Background

Ankit Bansal, M.D., is a fellow with the shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He treats patients with a variety of shoulder and elbow conditions, including arthritis, fractures, tears, dislocations and sports injuries. Dr. Bansal is also skilled in general orthopaedic care that includes numerous conditions of the upper and lower extremities.

Dr. Bansal completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University, where he was active in several research projects. He co-authored several scientific papers and presented at national orthopaedic conferences.
