Dr. Nishant Nannapaneni is an instructor and interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine fellow in the Johns Hopkins Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He evaluates and treats patients with a variety of spine and musculoskeletal conditions, including degenerative disc disease, facet joint disease, disc herniations, cervical or lumbar radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, sacroiliac joint disease, joint arthritis and peripheral nerve injuries.
Dr. Nannapaneni’s focus is on assessing each patient individually and developing a specific treatment plan to address the patient’s concerns. This includes conservative measures as well as minimally invasive procedures such as steroid injections, nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation.
Dr. Nannapaneni completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
