Research Summary

Dr. Pollard’s research is focused on the design, implementation, and evaluation of interventions to improve chronic respiratory disease outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. Her research also focuses on the epidemiology of chronic lung diseases in these settings. Her current research portfolio includes studies focused on development of interventions to address pediatric asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in both urban and rural communities. Her research interests include implementation science, mixed methods research, global health, chronic lung disease epidemiology, and building local capacity for public health research and training in LMICs.
