Background
Dr. Mary Philip is an Assistant Professor in Mammography for the Johns Hopkins Medicine Department of Radiology and Radiological Science. Dr. Philip specializes in breast imaging.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Bryn Mawr College and a master’s of science degree in physiology and biophysics. She received her medical degree from Drexel University and Howard University.
Following medical school, Dr. Philip was a transitional year intern in medicine at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, PA. Dr. Philip completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Pennsylvania Hospital and performed her breast imaging fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Philip is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and Society of Breast Imaging.
