Katherine Wright, M.D., is a rehabilitation psychologist with expertise in psychological management of acute and chronic pain, addiction and health behavior change.

Using motivational enhancement strategies and practicing from a biopsychosocial perspective, she treats patients by facilitating adjustment to injury and disability, coping with hospitalization, managing acute pain, assessing for reactions to trauma and providing behavioral management support.

Dr. Wright received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, in clinical psychology and behavioral medicine. She completed her psychology residency and postdoctoral fellowship in rehabilitation psychology at the University of Washington School of Medicine in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, where she worked as part of multidisciplinary teams and provided assessments and interventions to patients with traumatic injuries or neurological conditions. more
