Erin Kane, MD, is an Instructor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Assistant Medical Director for the Johns Hopkins Office of Capacity Optimization and the Johns Hopkins Capacity Command Center.

She graduated from medical school at Harvard and completed her training in the Johns Hopkins Emergency Medicine Residency Program, where she served as Chief Resident.

Her current research focuses on patient experience, patient-centered hospital operations, and the delivery of high-value healthcare. She practices clinically in the Emergency Departments of the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Howard County General Hospital. more
