He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and he joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2017.
