Background
Leah Leinbach is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry at the School of Medicine with a joint appointment in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. She graduated from Lafayette College with degrees in biology and philosophy after which she worked as a research specialist in a lab investigating immunotherapy for various types of blood cancers. She completed a DMD at the University of Pennsylvania followed by a General Practice Residency and MPH both at Johns Hopkins. She currently serves as the GPR program director in addition to providing clinical care. She is an academic fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine and member of the Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists. Research interests include the intersection of oral and other diseases from both a clinical and policy perspective.
