Dr. Marianne I. Schuelein is a neurologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, Children’s National Medical Center and Georgetown University Hospital, where she serves as an assistant professor in the department of pediatrics and neurology for Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Schuelein is certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, as well as by the American Board of Pediatrics. She has a private practice in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Schuelein has an expertise in pediatric neurology. Dr. Schuelein see patients with a range of symptoms, including headaches, seizures, learning disorders, back and neck pain, muscle weakness and incoordination, epilepsy, migraines and multiple sclerosis. 

Dr. Schuelein earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, followed by a residency in neurology at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Schuelein also completed a fellowship in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center. 

Dr. Schuelein is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Cerebral Palsy, the American Association of Research in Nervous and Mental Diseases, the American Epilepsy Society, the Child Neurology Society, the Medical Society of the District of Columbia, the Northern Virginia Pediatric Society and the Prince George-Montgomery County Pediatric Society. more
