Background
Dr. Lucy M. McBride is an internist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital. She practices out of Foxhall Internists in Washington, D.C.
Dr. McBride has an expertise in long-term management of hypertension, heart disease, lipid disorders, diabetes, mental health issues and managing those issues to promote patients’ physical and overall wellbeing.
Dr. McBride earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She was a 1996 Fulbright scholar at the University of Cambridge, U.K., where she earned a Masters degree in pharmacology. Dr. McBride completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She went on to serve on the emergency medicine faculty at Johns Hopkins Hospital for several years.
