Dr. Kathryn I. Marko is an obstetrician and gynecologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and George Washington University Hospital, where she is the associate residency program director and an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology for the School of Medicine. Dr. Marko is certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She practices out of the GWUMFA Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, located in Bethesda, Md. and in Sibley Memorial Hospital’s Medical Building in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Marko has an expertise in ovarian cysts, contraception, menopause and peri-menopause care, office procedures and minimally invasive surgery. 

Dr. Marko earned her medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. 

Dr. Marko is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the North American Menopause Society. more
