Dr. Alexander C. Chester is an internist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and Georgetown University Hospital, where he is a clinical professor of medicine and a board member of the Georgetown Hypertension, Kidney and Vascular Center. Dr. Chester is certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He practices out of Foxhall Internists in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Chester earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Hospital, as well as a fellowship in nephrology. 

Dr. Chester was named one of the Best Doctors in America in a number of publications and his biography is included in Who’s Who in the World. 

Dr. Chester has contributed to numerous papers and publications on chronic sinusitis, sinus surgery, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, kidney disease, hypertension and other subjects. His primary research interest is the relationship between sinus disease and chronic fatigue. He reviews scientific studies on this interest for several medical journals. more
