Background
Dr. Carrie Herzke is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include internal medicine and pediatrics.
Dr. Herzke serves as the Associate Vice Chair for inpatient operations in the Department of Medicine, Co-director of the DOM-IR bedside procedure service, and as an Associate Chief Medical Officer for Johns Hopkins Hospital.
She earned her M.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia. She completed her residency at the Duke University School of Medicine and her MBA from the Carey School of Business at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Herzke's research interests include quality improvement, partnering with patients, and hospital operations.
