David Alan Madder, D.O., F.A.C.P. is a 1981 graduate of Allegheny College with a BS in Chemistry and a 1985 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an Osteopathic Internship at the Detroit Osteopathic Hospital and the Bi-county Community Hospital and completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian - University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. 

After working for 5 years as a Primary Care Internist for the Department of Health of the City of Philadelphia, he worked for 10 years as an Internist with Medical Arts – University of Pennsylvania Health System. In August of 2005, Dr. Madder joined Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.

After once providing in-patient care at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, he now has a full-time out-patient practice. As part-time faculty with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the School of Nursing, Dr. Madder teaches medical students, nurse practitioner students and Internal Medicine residents at the Johns Hopkins Community Physicians White Marsh location. In March 2016, Dr. Madder was elected a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. more
