Dr. Jennifer Hayashi is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her area of clinical expertise is physician house calls for frail, homebound elderly patients. 

Dr. Hayashi serves as the director of the Elder House Call Program and the associate director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

She earned her M.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center and performed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. 

Dr. Hayashi's conducts educational research on teaching home care for physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

She is a recipient of the Johns Hopkins University Diversity Council 2015 Diversity Recognition Award. She is a member of a number of professional organizations including Johns Hopkins Home Care Group Professional Advisory Committee and the American Academy of Home Care Physicians. more
