Background

Alan L. Wilder, O.D., is a primary care optometrist with over 30 years of experience working with patients of all ages. His specialties include comprehensive eye exams, fitting of both soft and gas permeable contact lens types and assistance in the referral and management of glaucoma, diabetes and cataract patients.

Dr. Wilder received his O.D. degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, and has practiced in Maryland since 1980. He joined the Wilmer faculty in 1999.
