Background
Dr. David Monroe is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His expertise is in general pediatrics.
He joined the Children’s Center at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in 1996 and has served as the director since that time.
Dr. Monroe earned his M.D. from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He was a member of the National Health Services Core, providing pediatric care to underserved children, and a member of the executive committee of Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network. He has lived in Columbia, Maryland, for over 20 years and enjoys the challenges and rewards of caring for children.
