Dr Sheila Sheth is an Associate Professor in the Johns Hopkins Medicine Department of Radiology and Radiological Science and the Department of Pathology. Dr Sheth currently serves as the Clinical Director of Ultrasound, is a Body Imager and a member of the Diagnostic Radiology Division. Her academic interests include image-guided biopsies, thyroid imaging, contrast Ultrasound and quality improvement.

She earned her MD degree from the University Rene Descartes in Paris, France. She completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD and a Body Imaging Fellowship at Johns Hopkins. She joined the faculty in 1986.

She is a nationally and internationally recognized authority in the field of Ultrasound and has coauthored over 75 peer reviewed articles and 15 book chapters.

Dr Sheth sits on numerous radiological society committees. She is a fellow of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound. more
