Background
Zeshan Ahmad, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Division of Cardiology. He is a cardiac electrophysiologist based at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians-Heart Care in Bethesda, Maryland. He also sees patients at Johns Hopkins, Sibley and Suburban Hospitals.
Dr. Ahmad has expertise in arrhythmia management and complex ablation procedures, including both atrial and ventricular catheter ablation. He earned his medical degree from University of Toledo. He completed a residency in internal medicine at University of Arizona, followed by a fellowship there in cardiology and one in electrophysiology at the University of Texas at Houston.
Dr. Ahmad is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association, as well as the Heart Rhythm Society.
