Background
Dr. William Wong’s focus is in diagnostic radiology, with almost 20 years of experience in private practice.
Dr. Wong joins Johns Hopkins from practicing for vRad teleradiology, where he served as a radiologist for 19 years. He also has 10 years of experience as a medical reviewer for continuing medical education activities with Medical Learning Institute.
He earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University, going on to an internship in general surgery at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University, serving as chief resident during the 2000 academic year. He also completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology with the University of Virginia Health System.
