Dr. Samuel J. Potolicchio is a neurologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital, as well as a George Washington University Hospital professor of neurology, director of the Neurophysiology Center and associate medical director of the Center for Sleep Disorders. Dr. Potolicchio is certified in neurology, sleep medicine and clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He practices out of GWUMFA Department of Neurology, located in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Potolicchio has expertise in epilepsy and sleep medicine, in addition to general neurology. 

Dr. Potolicchio earned his medical degree from Geneva University Faculty of Medicine. He completed a residency in neurology at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a fellowship at the Montreal Neurological Institute.

Dr. Potolicchio has been named a Super Doctor by the Washington Post and a Top MD by Consumers’ Checkbook Magazine.
