First time visit with Dr. Yu: phenomenal experience. I felt Dr. Yu gave me a very thorough exam, something that I've not had from other providers elsewhere, and she was extremely attentive, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Her responsiveness was extremely prompt regarding results of lab tests and radiology exams. She's one of the best providers I've had in recent memory.

Nice, but had limited thoughts as to what is going on.

The doctor was thorough and explained things well.

This was my first visit to Dr. Yu. She took a complete history and reviewed my CT scan. She reassured me about the findings and conducted an exam to help confirm the diagnosis. She prescribed medication for my illness and requested further testing, which I completed the next day (yesterday). I was told that those findings will be available after the weekend. She also sent a consult note to my PCP the same day I saw her.

Dr. Yu was the ONLY Pulmonologist that listened and diagnosed my problem. The other within Hopkins network failed me horribly. Dr. Yu is attentive, caring and very intune with her patients. I cannot praise her enough. She is the example ALL providers should follow.

Dr. Rose Yu is a bright young physician. She's comfortable with technology & is extremely knowledgeable. Within 20 minutes of conversation, she narrowed my symptoms down to the cause that has not been truly diagnosed for more than 30 years & prescribed meds that have already helped. She's a fresh breath of air.

SHE ALSO INQUIRES ABOUT MY HOME SETTINGS, EMOTIONAL STATE AND ALSO SEEKS TO ADDRESS MY OTHER MEDICAL CONCERNS WHICH DO NOT PERTAIN TO HER AREA OF MEDICAL EXPERTISE AND POINTS ME TO DIRECTIONS WHICH ARE BETTER ABLE TO ADDRESS MY CONDITION. ALSO, SHE DOES REACH OUT TO MY INTERNIST WHICH IS VALUABLE IN MAINTAINING THE CONTINUITY OF CARE - I AM MOST PLEASED WITH HER CARE FOR ME AND THE CONCERN SHE EXHIBITS.

Dr. Yu was absolutely excellent - professional, very pleasant, efficient. Dr. Yu had the concern and consideration to review and explain all that was being reviewed and offered a plan going forward. It's the education of what the problem is or seems to be, taking the time to share and explain the images taken, and offering a mutual plan going forward that too few physicians offer. The patient often needs that education regarding their own health status and what they can do to help themselves.

I absolutely adore Dr Yu! There is nothing like the disappointment of sitting down after "hello" and finding that the doctor is just reading about you - in front of you!
