Background
Millie S. Chang, O.D. is an ophthalmologist serving both pediatric and adult patients with specialization in amblyopia, myopia control and vision rehabilitation. Dr. Chang provides comprehensive eye care service and has extensive experience with specialty contact lenses, including orthokeratology, high astigmatism, and multifocal contact lenses.
Dr. Chang also co-manages with surgical specialists in the treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disease, and LASIK refractive surgery. She has a special interest in orthokeratology (ortho-k) lenses, atropine therapy, and soft contact lenses for myopia control, as well as vision rehabilitation for binocular vision disorders, acquired brain injury, amblyopia, and strabismus. Additionally, she has experience with orthokeratology, keratoconus, and astigmatism/multifocal specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Chang received her doctor of optometry degree at the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry, where she was awarded the distinguished Incentive Scholarship. She then completed her training at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and at SUNY College of Optometry's renowned Vision Therapy and Pediatrics Clinic. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.
