Background
Dr. Sinkiewicz is a board-certified Physiatrist and fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She earned degrees in Biobehavioral Health and Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University where she also minored in Neuroscience before obtaining her medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduation, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Lankenau Hospital/ Main Line Health System and completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Emory University.
In clinical practice, she has specialized in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders including acute orthopedic and sports injuries as well as chronic joint pain. She also has expertise in the management of chronic neurological conditions and the rehabilitative care of neuromuscular disorders.
Her special skills include electrodiagnostic testing, spasticity management, botox injections, and ultrasound-guided injections. She currently serves as a Senior Scientific Program Manager at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences at the National Institutes of Health.
