Background
Elise Lynch, M.D., M.Sc., a Gyn/Ob practitioner at Johns Hopkins Medicine, specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology, and her research interests include global health, addiction/substance use disorder during pregnancy and advocacy.
Dr. Lynch earned her doctorate at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, and completed her residency training in Gyn/OB at Boston Medical Center. She also has a master’s degree in public health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
As a 2010 Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Lynch conducted HIV/AIDS biomedical research in Kenya. She is also a decorated teacher and leader in women’s health.
