Background
Dr. Lily Mundy is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon whose clinical focus is on complex microvascular reconstruction, including microvascular breast and extremity reconstruction.
Dr. Mundy serves on several national committees promoting research in plastic surgery through the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Plastic Surgery Foundation. Her personal research interests focus on patient-centered care, including patient-reported outcome instrument development and addressing health disparities in plastic surgery. Her research has been published in major peer-reviewed scientific journals and presented at national meetings.
Dr. Mundy received her medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her residency in reconstructive plastic surgery at Duke University. She also completed her fellowship in microsurgery and extremity reconstruction at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Mundy currently sees patients at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center.
