Dr. Rosenthal is the director of the Parkinson’s Disease Research Center’s clinical research, specifically the longitudinal and brain donation studies, which seek to improve our understanding of disease progression and the psychiatric and cognitive aspects of Parkinson's disease.

As the co-investigator of an NIH-funded study to identify biomarkers for Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's disease-related cognitive impairment, Dr. Rosenthal supervises all day-to-day operations of clinical research, including patient recruitment and enrollment and clinical assessments of study participants.
