Background
Leah Bright, D.O., FACEP, is an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She joined the faculty after her fellowship as associate fellowship director in the ultrasound division in 2011. She transitioned to assistant program director in 2013, and then to associate program director in 2017.
Dr. Bright’s focus in research is ultrasound education and training. Her primary interest is establishing competency evaluation tools for residency training and emergency medicine ultrasound for critical patients.
