Lauren Gormley, O.D., is an optometrist at the Wilmer Eye Institute’s location in Lutherville, Maryland. In addition to comprehensive eye care, Dr. Gormley specializes in management of evaporative dry eye disease related to digital device use and to hormonal changes in women. 

She attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she studied biology. She also received a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate in optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.

Dr. Gormley is a member of various local and national optometry committees and associations. She enjoys education and working with students. In 2007, she helped establish the Maryland Student Optometric Association at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She was the association’s doctor liaison until 2010. more
