Background
Kathleen B. Wooten, M.D., is a dedicated breast imaging specialist at Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Wooten specializes in all aspects of breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, wire localizations and image-guided breast procedures.
Dr. Wooten earned a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Health Administration dual degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at University of Maryland Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in breast imaging at Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Wooten previously served as a diagnostic radiologist and breast imager for Southern California Permanente Medical Group.
Dr. Wooten is a member of the Society of Breast Imaging, the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and the Maryland Radiological Society.
Dr. Wooten has given numerous lectures and presentations on radiology topics and has taught students on the subject as well.
