Background
Joseph Meyer is a cardiologist in Baltimore, specializing in general cardiology, echocardiography and imaging. He is an assistant professor of medicine at the Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Meyer earned his medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His research interests include endothelial dysfunction, functional imaging for characterization of disease and heart failure. He is interested in non-invasive imaging to characterize endothelial dysfunction and its role in worsening advanced cardiovascular diseases, particularly heart failure.
