Background
Dr. Babrowicz is the director of vascular surgery at Sibley Memorial Hospital and an assistant professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine. He practices out of The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (GWUMFA) and Sibley Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Babrowicz has an expertise in carotid endarterectomy, endovascular surgery, lower extremity revascularization and minimally invasive endovascular aneurysm repair.
Dr. Babrowicz earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at Washington Hospital Center, where he also completed a fellowship in trauma and critical care. Dr. Babrowicz also completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at NYU/North Shore University Hospital.
Dr. Babrowicz has authored various publications with an emphasis on renal and carotid artery stenting. He has also made presentations that focus on emphasizing endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms.
