Background
Dr. Jennifer Son graduated from Harvard Medical School in 2007. She subsequently completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. Following residency, she completed a year-long pediatric radiology fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. She is currently board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with an additional Certificate of Added Qualification in pediatric radiology. She has worked in both the private practice setting and in academics as a pediatric radiologist. She worked as a pediatric radiologist in University of Maryland since 2017 and served as assistant residency program director.
Dr. Son’s clinical and research interests focus on gastrointestinal and genitourinary imaging in children with a special emphasis on ultrasound. Dr. Son joined our department as an Assistant Professor in July 2019 and serves as the fellowship program director of pediatric radiology.
