Jaden Kohn is a physician for General Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins Hospital as well as a clinical instructor for the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her innovativeness and quality improvement efforts are shown through other notable titles such as Founder & Coordinator of the OBGYN Medical Student Research Program, and currently the Physician Champion for Zayed 8 Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program team.
Dr. Kohn received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Moving on to research both health services and healthcare management at University of Texas Health Science Center, School of Public Health where she earned her Master’s, and Baylor College of Medicine where she earned her doctoral degree in Houston, Texas.
The basis of her clinical interest is women’s health. Her recent research studies the impact of obesity on clinical and financial outcomes as a result of a minimally invasive hysterectomy. Dr. Kohn has also recently studied fertility-sparing surgery for patients with cervical, endometrial, and ovarian Cancers.
