Background

Dr. Glenn Wetzel is an Associate Professor (PAR) of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His area of expertise is interventional pediatric electrophysiology (ablation and pacing).

Dr. Wetzel received his M.D. from the University of California in San Diego’s School of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine

Dr. Wetzel specializes in arrhythmia management. He is also the leader of the Pediatric ECG Review (pECGreview) program. Research Summary

Dr. Wetzel’s current primary research and educational focus involves Pediatric ECG Review (pECGreview), a web-based program and data repository he developed for training physicians in ECG reading and EP concepts. pECGreview currently has more than 350 participants from more than 30 fellowship training programs. ECG reading responses from physicians at a variety of training levels are being assessed to evaluate the effectiveness of ECG training techniques.
