Background
Emily Guo, O.D., is an optometrist seeing patients at the Wilmer Eye Institute in Odenton, Maryland. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of a variety of ocular diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, cataracts and dry eyes.
Dr. Guo is also passionate about working with patients who are experiencing visual symptoms related to binocular vision disorders, visual field defects and/or light sensitivity after acquired or traumatic brain injury. Dr. Guo graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry with Cum Laude honors and went on to complete a primary eye care and brain injury vision rehabilitation residency at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System.
