In addition to his work in the field of pediatric cardiac critical care, Dr. Klugman is an international leader in patient safety and quality and has authored multiple manuscripts on the topic.  Dr. Klugman has a specific interest in improving quality of care for patients with congenital heart disease and the elimination of hospital acquired harm in critically ill children with congenital heart disease. Dr. Klugman serves as the Secretary for the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society and serves on the executive committee for the Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Consortium. more
