Background
Dr. Cynthia Major is an instructor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include adult psychiatry, affective disorders, community psychiatry, eating disorders and emergency psychiatry. Dr. Major also serves as the Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Dr. Major earned her M.D. from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2000.
