Background

Dr. Claire Knezevic was born and raised in the Chicago area and obtained her BA in chemistry from Scripps College in Claremont, CA. Dr. Knezevic earned her PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After completing post-doctoral studies at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL she then joined the Department of Pathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a fellow in Clinical Chemistry. 

Dr. Knezevic joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor in July of 2018, where she is serving as director of the Critical Care laboratories, as well as co-director of the Drug Assay Laboratory. She also serves as Assistant Director in the Clinical Pharmacology Analytical Laboratory. Her research interests include therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacogenetics, and drug-drug interactions.
