Christopher Carosella, M.D., is a pediatric neurologist with expertise in epilepsy and neurologic sleep disorders. He sees patients in the Baltimore area and Howard County. He specializes in helping children manage epilepsy through a variety of advanced therapies, such as neurostimulation.
Dr. Carosella earned his medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his pediatrics and child neurology residency programs at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where he also pursued a fellowship in epilepsy and gained experience on the epilepsy monitoring unit. He then completed an additional fellowship in sleep medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Carosella’s research interests include treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy with neurostimulation and vagus nerve stimulator-associated sleep disordered breathing.
