Research Summary

Dr. Chaon is committed to improving the quality of life for patients with uveitis and retinal diseases. His research is focused on understanding the fundamental immune mechanisms which underlie the development of inflammation in the eye.

Advances in our understanding of the pathogenesis of uveitis are likely to lead to new diagnostic and therapeutic options for patients with vision loss due to ocular inflammatory diseases.
