Background
Anthony Gonzales, O.D., holds the position of assistant faculty in the department of ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He provides comprehensive eye care services specializing in ocular disease, including, but not limited to, cataracts, glaucoma, cornea/ anterior segment disease, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

After finishing his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Dr. Gonzales received his Doctorate in Optometry at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. He completed his residency program in ocular disease at Seidenberg and Protzko Eye Associates in 2019. He maintains optometry licenses in Maryland and Virginia.
