Background
Dr. Aniket Sidhaye is an assistant professor of medicine and pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His specific clinical interests are cystic fibrosis related endocrine disorders, type 1 diabetes mellitus particularly emerging adults with diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic bone disease, and management of hospitalized persons with diabetes.
Dr. Sidhaye earned his M.D. from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Northwestern University. He performed a research fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at Northwestern University and also performed fellowships in endocrinology and metabolism at Johns Hopkins.
His research interests include CF related diabetes, bone health of CF patients after lung transplant, and the care of emerging adults with type 1 diabetes.
In addition, he is a committed educator serving as an advisor in the medical school, co-director for the endocrine course for pre-clinical medical students, and program director for our endocrine fellowship.
