Background
Dr. Andrea “Judit” Machnitz is an Assistant Professor for Johns Hopkins Medicine Department of Radiology and Radiological Science, specializing in pediatric radiology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Szeged, Medical & Medical Sciences Centre, Hungary. She completed a pediatric training at Semmelweis University Budapest which sparked her interest in pediatric radiology. She performed a pediatric radiology residency at Bethesda Children Hospital and diagnostic radiology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine and Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Machnitz completed her, Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Prior to joining Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Machnitz was an attending radiologist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Machnitz has received multiple Academic Achievement Awards from Hahnemann Hospital and Bethesda Children Hospital.
She is a member of the Pennsylvania Radiological Society, Society for Pediatric Radiology, and Radiological Society of North America.
