Dr. Sailon is a native of New Jersey & New York and attended the Horace Mann School. After graduating cum laude from Georgetown University, he attended New Jersey Medical School where he was generously granted multiple scholarships. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as a result of his academic excellence. Subsequently, he completed a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where he had the chance to work with many of Manhattan’s top plastic surgeons.

Upon completing his plastic surgery training, Dr. Sailon sought to pursue his dream of providing aid to children most in need. He joined Operation Smile, a well-regarded international non-profit organization, as the Hearst cleft and craniofacial fellow under the tutelage of Dr. Magee. Throughout the course of a year, he traveled extensively and successfully operated on hundreds of children while honing his skill in cleft surgery.

Dr. Sailon actively remains on the forefront of plastic surgery, a continuously evolving field. He has done extensive research, attended many international conferences, and has numerous publications in prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals.
