Background

Steven Ovadia, M.D., is a surgeon who specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

He achieved his undergraduate degree in chemistry at New York University in 2009. In 2014, Dr. Ovadia graduated with a doctorate of medicine from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in integrated plastic surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and is currently performing a fellowship in complex gender surgery and microsurgery at The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Ovadia joined the Johns Hopkins University faculty in 2021 as an instructor of plastic and reconstructive surgery. An accomplished researcher, he has published many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on the plastic and reconstructive surgery field.
